Once the APPMODULE has been connected to the KNX bus, the desired functions can be conveniently controlled via push-button sensors.

Using the app for controlling SONOS® devices, we show how practical our apps are with the APPMODULE. In this case, the APPMODULE works independently – i.e. without an additional gateway.

In our example, it should be possible to control common multiroom functions of SONOS® devices via KNX push-button sensors – i.e. calling up playlists, starting and stopping tracks, etc. Together with the APPMODULE by BAB TECHNOLOGIE and our app »PLAY«, this works within minutes.

To do this, the app »PLAY« is simply installed on the APPMODULE. In the clear configuration interface of the APPMODULE, the desired KNX group addresses can now be entered.
