When a storm is forecast, the necessary protective measures can be initiated automatically. OpenWeatherMap provides codes for a wide variety of weather definitions, known as »Weather condition codes«. These codes simplify the configuration of the system and allow conditions to be mapped unambiguously. And of course, current weather data can also be easily displayed in the visualization.
