WEATHER Lite

WEATHER intelligently connects your building control system with data from OpenWeatherMap (openweathermap.org). This data allows the weather forecast to be integrated into a variety of algorithms. For example, if an extended dry spell is forecast, the irrigation system can respond accordingly and existing sun protection systems can be moved into position. When a severe storm is forecast, the necessary protective measures can be initiated automatically. OpenWeatherMap provides codes for a wide range of weather definitions – known as »Weather condition codes«. These codes simplify the parameterization of the system and allow conditions to be assigned unambiguously. Of course, current weather data can also simply be displayed in the visualization.
