WEATHER intelligently connects your building automation system to data from OpenWeatherMap (openweathermap.org). This data allows the weather forecast to be incorporated into a variety of algorithms. For example, if an extended dry spell is forecast, the irrigation system can respond accordingly and existing sun protection systems can be moved into position. If severe weather is forecast, the necessary protective measures can be initiated automatically. OpenWeatherMap provides codes for a wide range of weather definitions, known as »Weather condition codes«. These codes simplify the configuration of the system and allow conditions to be assigned unambiguously. And of course, current weather data can also be displayed in the visualization with ease.
